Nucul (2024)
In a co-production with Agata Tabacu, Alexandru Berceanu and Studio Vana, I animated Agata's wax puppets, various effects including fire, smoke and fabric which were then composited using After Effects. I also made some of the backgrounds and animated the expressions on the faces of the puppets.
Behind the Scenes:
Agata worked as Art Director, Stop-Motion Animator, Puppet-maker and Coordinator of the UK animation team, developing a visual world built from wax, wood, 2D elements and sculptural textures. This project explores the real story of a holocaust survivor combining fiction with a real interview of the real characters.
